Wine & Jazz REVIEW - Jonathan Widran

Last year, I wrote in WAJ about Anna Wilson, a top country songwriter who has released several successful independent jazz albums—and she told me at the time that she was working on a unique country/jazz project. The incredible result, due in February is “Countrypolitan Duets,” a project featuring Anna doing country classics (from before the Carrie Underwood-Taylor Swift era, haha) with country and jazz superstars old and new: Kenny Rogers, Billy Dean, Keith Urban, Larry Carlton, Rick Braun, Ray Price & Rascal Flatts, Connie Smit, Lady Antebellum and, best known from the 2009 season of American Idol, Matt Giraud.
